I was given the opportunity to create a virtual choir for a public school client, during the covid 19 pandemic. Unfortunately, the original video was lost in a flood, but on the bright side that taught me to ALWAYS save my work in 3 places, a computer, a physical hard drive, and a digital drive.
I started with recording the backing track using music editing software. I then created instructional videos for students and staff on how to record themselves at home with the backing track. I then imported 19 different videos and separated the 19 different audio tracks. I adjusted the size dimensions of the videos and compiled them in a grid style format on the screen. I aligned and edited the audio which I talk more about in the sound design portion of my portfolio.

I was given the opportunity to create a documentary style dance performance video for a Dance Performance Company called The Frontera Dance Project. For this video I was in charge of the pre production, production, and post production process.
First, my client settled on a song she wanted to use for the video. I took the song and edited it in music editing software, and used some audio fades. I shot the video footage using cameras and gimbals, following my self created storyboards and my clients vision.
I then imported the footage into video editing software, and strategically edited the scenes to fit the music scenarios, and to create a visual story. The video was exported in appropriate formats to post on various digital platforms, such as websites and social media.
